Unicorn Meat Stuffed Bell Peppers

February 14, 2016 by Ariel 2 Comments

UnicornMeatStuffedPeppers04

This is a nice recipe for all your meat lovers, vegan and vegetarian hater friends out there.

We all know a few, those people who absolutely despise tofu and would never indulge in a nice tofu anything even if their lives depended on it.  It will be able to fool any of those harsh critics and amuse them by the thought of eating unicorn meat.

Make the test, challenge one of your buddies and let’s see if they are able to taste this awful tofu they are so scared of.

It’s one of those recipes that will make you look like you actually took time to think about your “concept” when it fact it was the easiest and…let’s say it… laziest recipe ever 😛 lol!

If I may suggest, serve the whole thing right on the baking sheet, for a rustic look, and add some chopped cilantro or basil as a little happy green colour to your presentation.

Cauliflower & Watercress Soup (Vegan)

December 2, 2013 by Ariel 2 Comments

Vegan_Cauliflower_and_Watercress_soup01

I’ve been asked to post more vegetarian and vegan recipes on twitter….  I wont lie, I sometime find it constraining to create vegan approved recipes but I try to look at it as a challenge.  Now since I love challenges, this is actually pretty fun and this vegan cauliflower & watercress soup is of the deliciousness that I have been able to create up to date 🙂

In this recipe, I used a Lipton onion soup pouch because I find that it’s adding a fun new dimension to the taste but you really don’t have to add it in there 🙂  What really makes this coup special is the grounded fenugreek seeds because they are giving you the impression of chicken broth without any being in there 🙂

Anyways, enough chatting and more tasting! …I hope you’ll enjoy this healthy recipe 🙂

Grilled Cheezy Polenta with Spicy Pomegranate Salad

May 20, 2013 by Ariel 2 Comments

Cheesy_Polenta_with_Pomegranate_Sauce01

I’m planning a bunch of photo shoots in the upcoming months and I have to start watching what I eat…. Sound awful right? lol  No worries it’s not THAT bad because my head is full of delicious ideas to keep me happy even when I have to watch what I eat…

This is a fun and easy recipe, for example, that I like to prepare as a lunch during those “model bootcamp” time but you could easily serve it as a fun appetizer.  The total recipe will give you 4-5 maybe even more portions of polenta and salad dressing so it’s something you can keep in your fridge for about a week and grill your polenta at the last minute when you’re ready to eat it.  I hope you’ll like it as much as I do and let me know how it turned out!
